Ingredients:
- Sugar-White, granulated sugar
- Brown Sugar-For this particular recipe, I recommend using light brown sugar instead of dark.
- Cinnamon-Provides that delicious cinnamon taste. Organic or good quality is best but again, use whatever you have on hand. I used Aldi’s brand.
- Salt-Helps balance out all the sugar.
- Egg White-The egg white will be the glue to hold the sugars onto the almonds.
- Vanilla-It’s best to use a good quality, pure vanilla, but in this case I used imitation vanilla extract and they still turned out great-so just use whatever you have on hand.
- Almonds–This one is a given. Ha! But the key is, you’ll want to use raw almonds, not salted or already roasted.
- Water-You’ll add a little bit of water to the almonds at the end of the cooking process. It’s what helps create the crunchy coating we all know and love.
Now that you know what we need, lets get cookin!
